China is one of the oldest and largest counties in the world. The history of China goes back to more than 4000 years ago. The area of China is 9,596,961 km2 (i.e. 3,705,407 sq mi), which is 65 times larger than the Bangladesh. There’re 23 provinces, 04 municipalities, 05 autonomous regions and 02 special administrative regions in China. The capital of China is Beijing. The official currency of China is Renminbi (i.e. RMB) and its’ official language is Mandarin.
Today, the China is considered as one of the super power in the world and their economy is growing very fast. As of 2019, China ranked 2nd for GDP – Nominal (i.e. $14.140 trillion, 2019 est.) & 1st for GDP – PPP ($27.309 trillion, 2019 est.) in the world, where Bangladesh ranked 39th for GDP – Nominal ($347.991 billion, 2020 est.) & 29th for GDP – PPP ($917.805 billion (PPP, 2020 est.).
When it comes to the GDP per capita China ranked 67th for nominal & 73rd for PPP and Bangladesh ranked 144th for nominal & 136th for PPP in the year of 2018. As of 2019, the GDP per capita nominal of China is $10,099 and GDP per capita PPP of China is $19,504. The GDP per capita nominal of Bangladesh is $2,068 (i.e. 2020 est.) and GDP per capital PPP of Bangladesh is $5,453 (i.e. 2020 est.).
As of 2019, the total population of China is more than 1.4 billion (i.e. 1,420,062,022) and the literacy rate is more than 96%. It is located in East Asia and sharing its borders with 14 sovereign states included Afghanistan, Bhutan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Vietnam.
